The firm Elvinger Hoss announced on Tuesday the opening of its office in New York. "Elvinger New York" aims to follow the needs of its customers in the US market through a permanent presence.
Two people are currently on site at 230 Park Avenue, and two more will be joining them next September. They are supported by a team dedicated to the Luxembourg headquarters.
"The presence of Elvinger New York in the United States allows our customers and local partners to obtain relevant advice on Luxembourg law during their office hours," notes the press release.
24-hour objective
It is the lawyer Nicolas Fermaud who is in charge of supervising the activities of Elvinger New York. A market he knows well since there was, in the past, coordinated the desk of Allen & Overy Luxembourg.
"With Elvinger New York, we are now represented worldwide and we can virtually cover a 24-hour work cycle," says Manou Hoss , managing partner of Elvinger Hoss. This new stage in the development of our study is a reflection of our constant growth for more than 50 years. "
Elvinger Hoss already had an overseas office in Hong Kong. Launched in November 2017, New York was celebrated in mid-May at Carnegie Hall in the presence of the grand-ducal heir.
