From how to fill out your tax form to spotting a scenic running route: a new Luxembourg Times guide deals with every imaginable such issue – whether you are new to the country or have lived here for decades.

The LT Expat Hub groups together hundreds of stories that were previously scattered around the website, including many that are new – all produced by Sarita Rao, well-known from her L-Word column.

"As an expat, I arrived six years ago with no idea about the basic things like finding a place to rentregistering with a doctor, or where I could entertain my kids," said Rao, a freelance contributor.

"I was inspired to write about these things because I too want to become a more permanent and integral part of Luxembourg, not a partisan watching from the wings," she said.

The Luxembourg Times has now been in existence for two years, and firmly established itself as the leader of news in English in the country, with its readership rising. The LT Expat Hub is the logical next step, offering a complete how-to guide for our readers in English.

It is primarily aimed at newcomers, or those planning to move to the Grand Duchy. But it will be equally useful for those who already know the country well, and are looking for practical information in English.

The LT Expat Hub – which replaces the Hub section on the website – consists of nine chapters, such as "Living in Luxembourg""Education and Family""Money and Work" and "Health".

Each chapter has different sub-sections, indicating the comprehensive scope of the new guide. "Living in Luxembourg", for instance, has "Home", "Lifestyle choices", "How to guides" and "Transport".

There is a separate chapter for so-called community stories about local initatives that would not make it to the front page. This chapter of the LT Expat Hub also contain's Rao's L-Word column.

Each piece will be regularly updated, and new stories will be added continuously. Readers are encouraged to give feedback if they spot out-of-date information, or to request stories about new topics by commenting on social media or contacting info@luxtimes.lu
