Our friends at Arendt & Medernach have generously invited us all to join a webinar organised by Arendt Regulatory & Consulting. It will be a 55 minute webinar session on "CBDF Directive and Regulations".

Going through the various topics raised in the CBDF Regulations (including timeline applicable) going from the definition of pre-marketing, the new conditions in terms of marketing passport maintenance and facilities to retail investors, to the harmonization of the de-notification process not forgetting about the marketing documentation new requirements and the centralization of the information at the ESMA level.

François Jacquemet is a Senior Manager at Arendt Regulatory & Consulting (ARC).

He has started his career in 2006 within the fund distribution sector, working in management companies and a law firm.

François worked as a legal advisor specialised in investment fund’s distribution agreements for two years, before extending its role for three years as company legal team leader, where he developed a strong contract database, managed the cross-border registration services, coordinated board meetings for numerous companies and was in charge of the review of AIF and UCITS related agreements. He handles a series of large clients with worldwide distribution of multiple investment funds/classes and specialises in cross-border registration of UCITS and AIFs around the world as well as distribution matters in general.

François holds a master's degree in Private Law from the University of Metz (France) and a professional master's degree in Public Law from the same university (Magna Cum Laude).

Alexandra Leininger is a Senior Manager at Arendt Regulatory & Consulting (ARC).

She has started her career in 2000 at PricewaterhouseCoopers Luxembourg where she has been working in the fund distribution sector.

She advises and assists clients in the cross-border registration and distribution of their UCITS and AIFs all over the world. Alexandra handles a series of large clients with pan-European distribution of multiple funds/classes.

Alexandra holds a Luxembourg license in the “droit des affaires et des sociétés” issued by the Chamber of Commerce.
