Mathieu has been with Cargolux going on 4 years. He is currently the VP Digital Sales & Marketing, leading the digital transformation of Cargolux’s sales function under our EVP Sales & Marketing. Prior to this, he led and drove the elaboration of the Cargolux 2025 Strategy, reporting to the CEO as VP Strategy & Corporate Development. Before joining Cargolux, Mathieu was based in Amsterdam, Beijing and Luxembourg for 13 years, working at McKinsey & Company, serving airline and aerospace clients on: turnarounds, M&A, strategy/ business development, commercial transformations and cargo. After completing his university studies in the UK, Mathieu worked for 4 years in Sales & Marketing at Rolls-Royce plc in the Civil Aerospace division. Mathieu is a Luxembourg national and is based in Luxembourg.

Benny Mantin is a Professor and the Director of the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LCL). Benny Mantin is a Professor and the Director of the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LCL). Professor Mantin joined the LCL in January 2017 but was involved in setting up the centre since September 2016.


His research covers different aspects of dynamic pricing and revenue management, supply chain management, and transportation economics. Using game theory frameworks, Prof. Mantin seeks to explore and understand the strategic interactions between suppliers, vendors, and consumers in different market settings. He also conducts extensive empirical work using retail and airfare data. In his research, Benny addresses topical and compelling questions and his research has been published or accepted for publication in numerous journals such as Marketing Science, Production and Operations Management, Naval Research Logistics, Transportation Research Parts B and E, and European Journal of Operational Research.


Prof. Mantin is a board member of the Journal of Air Transport Management and he is on the advisory board of the Hamburg Aviation Conference.
