International singer Adrienne Haan and her Music Director/Pianist/Vocals Richard Danley will be performing their Christmas show “White Christmas at the Triad” for the sixth consecutive year.

Written by LACC member, Creative Director Laurence Pierron, and validated by the Rogers & Hammerstein Organization, the show tells "the life story of the great American composer, Irving Berlin, from Imperial Russia in 1888, to Antwerp, Belgium, to the lower East Side of Manhattan (via Ellis Island) as a child in 1893, and eventually all the way to 17 Beekman Place in 1947, and to Broadway and Hollywood as an adult. The musical show also emphasizes the songwriter’s surprisingly close relationship to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the tiny country in Europe, of which Adrienne Haan is a citizen.

Combining their talents, Adrienne Haan and Richard Danley present some of the most beautiful (Christmas) songs, as well as lesser known oeuvres of the fabulous American composer to start off the festive season with beloved music for young and old.”

The show will be performed at the off-Broadway Triad Theater on Wednesday, December 4th at 7 pm as well as Saturday, December 7th at 2 pm.

Tickets are sold here.

Award winning production manager for the publication “The Luxembourg House on Beekman Place: Three Portraits in Time”, Laurence Pierron has worked for over 25 years for the Consulate General of Luxembourg in New York City located at 17 Beekman Place. The unique address was the home of first US Secretary of Defense James V. Forrestal (1929-1946), then the home of songwriter Irving Berlin (1947-1989), and has been the property of the Government of Luxembourg since April 30, 1990.

Combining her passion for the music and life of Irving Berlin, her knowledge in American and Luxembourg history, the prestigious address inspired her to write the musical show “White Christmas: A Tribute to the Life and Music of Irving Berlin”. Starring Luxembourg-born singer Adrienne Haan, the show also reveals the fascinating ties between Irving Berlin and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Pierron worked closely with the Berlin family and Ted Chapin, former President of the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization. Now in its sixth year, Pierron added a duo version in 2019.

Equally passionate about film and song compositions, Pierron’s wrote a second musical show “Timeless Songs from the Silver Screen” starring Adrienne Haan which premiered at the Triad Theater in September 2023. The show covers Silent movies and honors the various composers and songwriters from the start of the Talkies to today.

She studied Classical piano at the Conservatoire National de Montreuil, France and is a bronze medalist in International Latin & Ballroom dancing. A native of France and a citizen of the United States of America, she has been residing in New York since 1983.
